Lake Taghkanic State Park Beach Open for Swimming

From Lake Taghkanic State Park:

Swimming: State Park beaches are open on their normal seasonal schedule, at 50% capacity or less and with heightened precautions. You must practice social distancing at a state beach.

2020 Swimming Season West Beach (East Beach is closed) 5/22: 10 am - 6 pm 5/23 - 6/14: 10 am - 7 pm, weekends only 6/20 - 9/7: 10 am - 6 pm, weekdays 10 am - 7 pm weekends/holidays

June 10: Swimming will be open today! Due to the forecasted high temperature and humidity, we are opening our beach for swimming. Swimming hours today are 10 am to 6 pm. A $10 per vehicle entry fee will apply today.

NY State Resident Senior Citizens get in free on weekdays by showing our attendants their NY State Drivers License or Non-Driver ID.

Our normal weekday swim schedule will begin on June 22nd.

Please use social distancing and wear a mask when that is not possible. Always wear a mask when entering a Restroom or our Park Office.
