Arthur McGuire and Richard Skoda's Terms on the Town Board Are Coming To An End

Richard Skoda, Arthur McGuire, Cheryl Rogers (Town Clerk) and Ryan Skoda (Town Supervisor)

Richard Skoda has lived in Taghkanic his whole life and his service on the Town Board is coming to an end. He did not run for re-election so next month he will retire from the Board where he has served for the past 12 years. Prior to that position, Richard served on the Zoning Board of Appeals for 13 years. He also served on the Highway Garage Committee. Richard is still the owner/manager of Triple Creek Dairy Farms in West Taghkanic where he plans to continue to care for his dairy cows and contribute to Hudson Valley Fresh.

Arthur McGuire completed one term of four years on the Taghkanic Town Board. He will continue as Chairman of the Taghkanic Broadband Committee that is working on bringing high-speed internet to our town. He is considering other ways that he can stay involved in the Town...  Arthur will also continue as a firefighter for the Taghkanic Volunteer Fire Company and as its Secretary.

The town residents who elected them are grateful for their service.
