Celebrating Rob Burns May 4th

Our friend and colleague, Highway Superintendent Rob Burns, has been at the helm of the Highway Garage for just over two years. In that time, he has worked hard to create a more structured, smoothly operating Highway Department, with better systems and upgraded equipment. Rob has worked hard to find additional funds through grants and other incentives to supplement the Highway budget and keep our taxes down.

Few challenges in Taghkanic are as great as keeping our roads in shape and staying on top of the never-ending list of repairs. Rob and the crew have set the foundation for continued improvements to our road system.

We've decided to make our Town Clean-up Day on May 4th a celebration of Rob. Some of you may be aware Rob is currently battling cancer and we thought this would be a great time to acknowledge Rob's commitment to our Town.

Hope to see you Saturday, May 4th, between 9-12

Rob and his son Bo.
