Did You Know...you can attend town meetings via Zoom?

Did you know that all meetings of the Taghkanic Town Board and other committees are open to the public, and that they are also easily accessible for remote live viewing and participation on Zoom ? On the home page of the town website (https://taghkanic.org) - just under the main image - there is a section called PUBLIC MEETINGS (see below). It contains a Meetings Calendar that displays the meetings scheduled for the current and following weeks. In the far right column a blue icon of a video camera is displayed for meetings that are accessible by Zoom (circled in red in below). At the scheduled time of the meeting, you can simply click on the camera icon to launch the Zoom meeting. There is no need for an email from the town or a passcode to get in; just click the icon. If the meeting is already underway, it may take a little while to be noticed by the meeting organizer, so please be patient.
