Fire Company certifies 16 residents in CPR!

A big shout out to the members of the Taghkanic Fire Company and 16 residents for devoting their Saturday to participate in an Adult CPR and AED course. Seven members of the Fire Company helped teach the skills needed to confidently handle a crisis. Performing immediate CPR can double or triple chances of survival after cardiac arrest. Knowing how to use AED's (Automated External Defibrillators) can dramatically boost survival of cardiac arrest.

It's good to know we have another 16 members of our community able to jump in and help in an emergency situation. Many thanks to our Fire Company for offering this training and many thanks to our community members who participated!

The Fire Company will offer this training again and we'll let you know when they do.
