Hunt Benefit at Linlithgo Church 9/23

Stewart "Stewie" Hunt, a member of the Ancram Fire Company, died on June 15th while responding to an emergency call with the Company. Stewie was 37 years young. He leaves behind a 5 year old son, Zachary.


The members of the Ancram Fire Company will be cooking and serving a Chicken BBQ hosted by Linlithgo Reformed Church in Livingston on Saturday, September 23 from 1-4pm. All profits from the $20 meal ticket and any donations will be donated to a

Supplemental Needs Trust Fund for Zachary, established by the Ancram Fire Company.


The Nick Surrano 1-4-5 Blues Band will play from 12:30-3:30.


Stewie had a long career in firefighting and service to his community. He served the Ancram Fire Dept from 2002-2008. From 2011-2015 he served with Becraft Pumper Company #2 as part of the Greenport Fire Dept. He was a member of the Taghkanic Fire Company from 2016-2021, and rejoined the Ancram Fire Company in 2022. Stewie was also an Emergency Medical Technician and driver for the Community Rescue Squad.
