I LOVE MY PARK DAY! Saturday May 3

Join thousands of other volunteers across the state to celebrate and enhance New York's parks, historic sites, greenway trails and other public lands. I Love My Park Day is the largest single-day volunteer event in NYS.

Taghkanic's Climate Smart Communities task force is participating at the Lake Taghkanic State Park event and will clean up and prepare the pollinator garden that was planted last year. Join us any time from 10am-1pm to help in front of the park office at the west beach. Let's show the garden some love and see what has emerged since we planted! Volunteers can also help with Lake Trail maintenance and lake shore litter cleanup.
