It's almost Fair time!

The Columbia County Fair is just around the corner. It’s an exciting time for everyone from 4H kids to adults alike in the community with contests, rides, concerts, free entertainment, tractor pulls and more! The fair is a fantastic place to meet and greet people from the surrounding area and a celebration of the county’s agriculture.

Reduced price tickets are available in Chatham at the fair office from July 30-August 2. The price is reduced from $10 to $8 each day or from $15 to $8 for Sunday, September 1. Special price ride tickets are available every day during the fair.

Competitive events include:

· 4H programs led by skilled adult volunteers of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia County, diverse youth from Columbia County exhibit their club creations and project work or show their livestock in friendly competition throughout the 6-day fair.
