Following up on the multi-year success of Taghkanic Talks covering, forest health, deer and other pest management, dealing with invasives and supporting butterflies and birds, the folks at Taghkanic Talks are offering the unique opportunity to see first-hand how your neighbors are working their land to preserve and enhance it ecologically.

Save the dates – Saturday and Sunday, July 18-19, eight local properties will be open to the public free of charge.
Here is your opportunity to see how your neighbors are creating pollinator-friendly areas with native plants, managing invasives and creating beautiful native meadows.

Many of the open landscapes are self-guided, but for those offering guided tours by the property owners, early sign up is highly recommended.
Follow this link for information about all eight properties and how to register for guided tours: https://taghkanic.gov/garden_walks
We look forward to seeing you on the weekend of July 18-19.
