Taghkanic Talks presents -

Affordable Housing: What's Happening and What's Possible in Columbia County?

There is a housing crisis in Columbia County, and many towns are considering what they can do to facilitate the development of housing that average wage residents can afford, and housing that meets local requirements.

The talk will bring together 3 professionals who are working with communities on solutions across the county:

Chris Brown (Columbia County Housing Development Director)

Marissa Codey (Columbia Land Conservancy’s Special Project Advisor)

Al Bellenchia (Executive Director/CEO Columbia County Habitat for Humanity)

This trio of experts will discuss what’s needed, what’s possible, and how residents and officials can work together to adopt sensible development policies that work.

Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to rsvp@taghkanic.org.
