The Plastic Pollution Crisis

The Copake Conservation Advisory Committee and the Friends of Taconic State Park are co-sponsoring a presentation by the organization Beyond Plastics on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 3pm at the Copake Grange, 628 Empire Rd., Copake NY. Special guest speaker Kristin Shevis will discuss the negative effects of plastics in the environment, the economic costs of removing plastic waste, and actions we can all take to reduce the ubiquity of plastics in our environment.
