PROPOSED AGENDA for the meeting:
Brief discussion of whether to make any amendments at all to the draft regulations, or instead to submit the draft to the Town Board for its review as the draft stands at present, for legal review after the Board engages land use lawyer and amendment by Board, and for the Board to hold an eventual public hearing on the amended draft.
Chair Elizabeth Craig will entertain motions to put any of the above to a vote.
If Committee votes to submit draft as is, the Committee will discuss the following:
What other materials should be formally submitted as part of “package”, for instance:
Executive Summary
Draft copy with comments added by STR owners who have engaged in discussion so far;
Letters & statements received to date from individual STR owners;
Additional materials to support narrative of ongoing discussion beyond minutes of meetings, including Public Information Meeting
Additional comment by committee members.
Will STR Committee offer to participate in re-write at Board’s invitation?
If Committee votes to make any edits before sending draft, the Committee will discuss the protocol and timeline for that process, along with the above.
Will STR Committee offer to write “Good Neighbor Handbook?
