It is great to find ways to reduce our costs and the Town of Taghkanic has found a way to help its residents realize up to a 10% discount annually on their electric bill. Signing up is easy and offers both the resident and the Town a signing bonus of a Visa Gift Card.
It is a win-win for residents and for the Town. Together we help to reduce our carbon footprint as well as our costs.
The Climate Smart Community Task Force did some research and identified Ampion as a solar energy provider that has a proven record for good reliable service with other Columbia County towns and the Town Board approved the project. Ampion can provide solar energy to National Grid, NYSEG and Central Hudson customers. You can opt out at any time and there is a signing bonus when you act before December 15th of a $100 Visa Gift Card. From December 16 to a $50 Visa Gift Card will be available. The Town also receives $100 or $50 for each sign-up!
