HooBoy! It's a LeeBoy!

Meet the newest member of the Taghkanic highway department! This 2018 Leeboy 8520 paver will enable the Highway crew to pave more of our roads for less money. Having our own paver means we don't have to contract the work out and can work on our own schedule. Paved roads cost less to maintain, are easier to plow, and snow melts more quickly, using less salt and sand.

Highway Superintendent Eric Gaylord says "the guys are excited to get started in the spring to get the roads done!" We're excited too!
