Lake Taghkanic S.P. Garden Clean Up!

Yesterday this group of Taghkanic's finest (along with a few others who aren't in the shot) spent a couple hours cleaning up the pollinator garden we planted at the park two years ago. Many of the plants have taken hold and are thriving. We added in some new native plants, divided some and replanted in other areas, and the garden looks great. We will not need to go again next Wednesday, the 12th, as originally planned. Thanks to all for showing up!!

We've made a plan to reconvene in early fall to plant and seed more natives and invite anyone who is interested to join us! Stay tuned for the date and more details.
