Please join the Taghkanic Senior Network and the Columbia County Office for the Aging at the Taghkanic Firehouse (631 Old Route 82, Taghkanic, NY) on Tuesday August 18th at 3pm to learn about Medicare enrollment.
Are you approaching age 65 and starting to think about applying for Medicare? The OFA is here to help you navigate the often-complex world of health insurance. Come to the firehouse for a free, two-hour seminar designed to give you the knowledge you need to make sound decisions with confidence.
Experienced staff will break down the basics and address critical questions, including: What is the difference between Part A and Part B, and when can you apply? Should you choose traditional Medicare, a Medicare Advantage Plan, or a supplemental Medigap Plan? How do you get prescription drug coverage, and what are the penalties if you don't apply? What happens if you have health coverage from a previous employer as part of a retirement plan?
Each session concludes with a question-and-answer period to ensure your most important questions are answered.
ALL ARE WELCOME! Please share this important information with family and friends.
There will be coffee and snacks.
RSVPs are appreciated, but if you decide to join us last minute, that's ok too! taghkanic60plus@gmail.com
