PUBLIC NOTICE - TOWN OF TAGHKANIC

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Taghkanic will be accepting letters of interest to fill the following open positions:

Deputy Building Inspector

The Deputy Building Inspector assists the Building Inspector in the administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, the New York State Energy Conservation Construction Code, and applicable Town of Taghkanic local laws and regulations. Duties include conducting inspections, reviewing permit applications, maintaining records, and performing related code enforcement responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should possess the qualifications required by New York State and be willing to obtain any required certifications and training. Experience in building construction, code enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
