Just in time for Mother's Day, you can clean out your bulky trash items! Bring your old furniture, broken tools, appliances and junk to the Town Garage (Hwy 27 and Pumpkin Hollow Road) between 8am-2pm this Saturday the 13th and the Highway Dept Crew and a couple Town Board Members will be there to help you unload and get into dumpsters. We'll have some cold drinks and sweets on hand to reward your efforts.
Any scrap metal items (75% metal or more) can be recycled. Bring over the rusted out Weber behind the shed and the broken down chaise. The Town can sell this scrap metal, keeping it out of landfills,
If you need help transporting items, contact Betsy (917-834-2146) who MAY be able to arrange pick up.
Remember, refrigerators must have doors removed. Air conditioners must have freon removed. Please no tires, mattresses or hazardous materials.
