At Monday night's Town Board meeting, members of the Broadband Committee were recognized for their years-long effort to ensure that residents of Taghkanic had access to broadband service. Their labors included work on mapping issues, reporting on grant progress, and informing residents of developments through Open Houses, mailings and published guides. Thanks to this group of dedicated folks, residents can stay connected to the world around them.
Town Supervisor Ryan Skoda presented attending members with Certificates of Appreciation. From left to right, Susan Raymond, Supervisor Skoda, Board Chair Nancy Rutter, Christine Tallackson, and Joyce Thompson. Members recognized but not able to attend include Arthur McGuire, Erin Edwards, and Jeff Tallackson. We thank them all for their service to the Town of Taghkanic!
This committee did great and valuable work for us all, thanks!
Very appreciative of the work this group has done. Cudos to all.
Great work by the Broadband committee. We benefitted mightily by their efforts in getting GTel installed in February 2020, just before COVID broke. Life would have been miserable with our GTel! Kudos to the committee.
