Our Town now has 37 homes installed with 39 more scheduled for March. Installation has taken place on Reesa and Brothers Roads as well as on Route 82 east of the Taconic State Parkway. Work is progressing in the southeast of town as cabinets have been fully spliced and tested. Residents in that area should begin sign-up notices from GTel with installation dates to be scheduled 2-3 weeks afterward.
The Broadband Committee urges all residents to visit GTel and register an Expression of Interest for Internet service. You can follow the links to find out the status of your area. Or you can telephone Customer Service at 518-537-4835 to speak personally to a Representative about your situation. There is no obligation to sign up if you later change your mind.
So far as we are aware, Mid-Hudson and Consolidated broadband customers are satisfied with their service. The Broadband Committee would welcome any comments regarding these services to share with our community. Please send your comments to contact@tgazette.com or Login to comment below.
